A FUN LOVING ACTIVE LITTLE GIRL...
We are excited to be back for Madi’s Circle of HOPE 11th Annual 5K Fun Run/Walk since we were unable to host her event last year due to Covid. For those of you who don’t know Madison, she is a soon to be 18 year old girl who was diagnosed with a rare form of Epilepsy back in 2007 when she was only 4 years old. Due to the medical expenses involved in her treatment, a special needs trust was created in 2010 to assist with the cost of numerous medications, frequent trips to Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston and now an upcoming corpus callosotomy surgery she will undergo this summer. With the continued support and prayers of her family, friends, community and doctors, Madi continues to receive the medical treatment she needs that will hopefully allow her to one day live a seizure free life.
Madi’s Circle of HOPE (Hearts OverPowering Epilepsy) has been hosting a 5K Fun Run/Walk for the past 10 years to raise awareness in the community about epilepsy and support Madi’s fight, and thanks to your kindness and generosity, HOPE is still alive! We would like to invite you to be a part of our Circle of HOPE by becoming a sponsor for our 11th annual event on Saturday, May 22th at First United Methodist Church in McAllen. Our 5K Fun Run/Walk is not a race, but simply an opportunity to come together for fellowship, plenty of delicious food, and lots of fun, which Madi definitely enjoys. This event would not be possible without the support of our generous sponsors, participants, and volunteers so we hope you can join us and be a part of Madi’s Circle of HOPE!

The cost to participate in this event is $20 for adults and $10 for children up to 18 years of age. Participants will receive a T-shirt with their paid registration while supplies last.
